Oprah Gail Winfrey is the undisputed “Queen of All Media” — a talk show host, actress, and media mogul.

Despite her tumultuous early years in rural Mississippi, she pursued her passion for communication and rose through the ranks of daytime television. Her warm and candid interviewing style struck a chord with American audiences. Lasting 25 seasons, “The Oprah Winfrey Show” became one of the most popular talk shows in history.

Her success in showbiz led her to found her own magazine, a cable channel, and a production company. She’s become one of the most influential women in the world — and the first Black multibillionaire.

She’s kept the world listening for decades, but Oprah has occasionally been criticized for giving a platform to questionable ideas, perhaps even contributing to the rise of pseudoscience.

With great influence comes great responsibility, so this week we’re asking the question: Is Oprah Winfrey the worst?
