Creatives Are The Worst Episode 20: Carrie Fisher

Updated Jan. 12, 2022 Published Feb. 17, 2021 1 Min. Read

On this episode of Creatives Are The Worst, we’re visiting a galaxy far, far away and stepping into the world of the late iconic actress, Carrie Fisher.

Carrie Frances Fisher was born into Hollywood royalty, the daughter of actress Debbie Reynolds and singer Eddie Fisher.

It was no surprise, then, when she was cast in the iconic role of Princess Leia in the 1977 film “Star Wars,” a performance that would define her for the rest of her life.

In the decades that followed, she openly battled addiction and mental illness, while simultaneously carving out a unique career path as a writer and “script doctor” before her untimely death in 2016.

Fisher has been a household name for decades, but is her star power tainted by controversy? This week, we’re asking the question: Is Carrie Fisher the worst?

👉  Creatives Are The Worst is Design Pickle’s podcast, hosted by two of our very own creatives — Kate Rooney (our Brand Director) and Jess Guffey (our Director of Brand Partnerships).
